Or, what mean phrase "The notion of complexity may be defined not only for continuous functions"?

The answer is 3.
For example, (1-2-3), (2-1), (4-5-6).
Intervals in problem must have no intersections.
The other intervals in this test are OK too:
(1-2), (3-2), (1-4-5-6) and so on.
